Mouse Clicked into Oblivion.

In 2013, America sat on their couches and tuned to CBS and watched BIG BROTHER 15. BB15 went down in history for all the wrong reasons. Several of the house guests proved to be racist, sexist, misogynistic... and while I am reluctant to label people as such, there was a select group of house guests that made nasty comments consistently. For story purposes though, the house guest that got the front of the blame was Aryan Gries, a twenty-two year old from Texas. Aaryn, in her headshot for the show. She was evicted and greeted with boos and when host Julie Chen interviewed her, the girl was blindsided with a bulk of her comments she had made read back to her. “I don't remember saying those things,” she said. And now, in 2016, we're witnessing the first online-only Big Brother, dubbed OTT for “Over the Top.” In only its third week, controversy has spread like wildfire online, because, well... It's time for AMERICA'S VOTE!

Well, here we are: Week 2 of #bbott is beginning. Last evening, an HG was evicted and a new HG was crowned HOH. (Literally.) Alex, moments before she became the new HOH.  So, BBOTT has been a fascinating experience. For the first time, viewers got to watch the HG's move in, live. And, also for the first time, we got to see DR sessions, live. They weren't entirely an “actual DR”, but we did get insight into each HG, unfiltered, which is something fans have wanted ever since the CBS Edit began using heavily scripted DR sessions in the episodes. We're voting a third nominee, we're placing an eviction vote, we are voting on have-nots every week, we're sending one HG a "care package" every week until week 8 and lastly, we are voting on the winner.
