Big Brother Thoughts

Hello, readers. Well, here we are, almost Week 4. We've had two evictions, about to have another. My, what a ride this has been. We lost Jace, which was a real loss. Even if you didn't like him, he brought a lot of excitement to the house. After Jace, we lost Day. (Da'vonne.) You talk about tragedy. This girl was the epitome of fantastic entertainment, but a horrible game player. She even won a magic power that was supposed to help her, but it didn't, because Producers still don't know what the hell they're doing. (When it comes to Twists.) Yeah, let's give a power to void three votes when the House is working as a majority. ( Shakes Head.) This week, we saw Vanessa become HOH. She loves to talk a mile a minute, exhausting whomever is within ear shot. I foresee a segment on the CBS show of Vanessa droning on and on as someone listens to her, accompanied by “The Silly Circus Music.” I have seen a slight improvemen...

As of this writing, it's the start of Day 11 for the House Guests. What's been happening and what's my perspective? Well, firstly, we need to talk about Clay. The young man is generally modest, but a certain someone coaxes him into getting shirtless. Clay listens to this advice, and his body is proving to be a distraction for me and some of the house guests. The person Clay is working for is Audrey. This girl has a fire within her, but she's getting too warm and might s pontaneously combust. She is in everyone's ear. She's talking game every freaking minute. That's not an exaggeration. She even mentioned “slowing down” and “not taking game” for a bit... but this lasted literally five minutes. Day (Da'vonne) is the one person catching on to Audrey's playing style. Clay had a talk with Day with some coaching from Audrey and this was enough to tip Day off. “When he was speaking, it sounded like it was coming out of your mouth.....

The feeds went live last night. (the 25th.)  And oh boy... was it ever a doozy. Here's a quick recap of what went on: Jace is on a power trip. Major Power Trip. He had gotten the HG's to all sit in the living room to introduce themselves to us live feeders and... SHOUT OUT to family members! Ugh. This was a really lame start to the feeds. The HG's seemed to love getting attention for their brief “Hi Mom!” moment, though. This little 'false start' caused someone to lose their shit. Vanessa. The poor girl was crying almost the entire night. She was crying to the point she couldn't get her words out. The situation was hard to follow, but she appeared to be missing her girl friend and had overheard people badmouthing Steve. She just didn't think this was for her. The one comforting her? Steve. Hello there. I'm BigBro411 and welcome to the first official entry to “Big Brother Thoughts”, a blog where I'll be sharing my opinions on the current season. I have a personal blog and I had written about BB there occasionally. I felt it best not to annoy readers that were not Big Brother fans, so I felt I'd make the move to here. A little about me. I've been watching Big Brother faithfully since Season 8. I had seen bits and pieces of Big Brother 1 and 2, but I was still young that I didn't really grasp it. I am a feed watcher, and I do post screencaps and some videos (shh) various places. I aspire to write for television. So, blogging about television just feels right. Okay. So, let's get to it. As  Big Brother  fast approaches, fans are buzzing on what kind of twists or turns this season may contain. Returning Players? A rotating conversational room will mirrors all around the room? (See what I did there?) One of the more popular podcasts, “Rob Has A Podcast” discussed at length, twist ideas submitted by fans. I missed the memo, so I was not able to offer my idea. However, I’d like to share it, just to see if there might be any interest. My idea isn’t exactly a “twist” per se, but would rather bring a new character into the house. “The Big Brother Fairy.” A Magical Being sent to help the Underdog. Now, I know… many people are wishing the “Nickelodeon” and “childish” themes were gone from the show, but hear me out. The Big Brother Fairy would be an actual person, an actress, who enters the house either in person or via the television. She would only appear to one HG, and this HG would be decided by public vote. I’m going to give my first impressions on SOME of the House guests; the ones that stood out to me for one reason or another.  These impressions come from the video interviews by BIG BROTHER NETWORK.  So, without further ado, let’s get going: Amber Borzotra, 26. Amber is a model. This usually makes us go “UGH” and we think they’re just here for the fame. But, Amber seems different. Firstly, she applied. She wasn’t recruited.  My first impression is that she seems genuine, kind and funny. There’s something about her that makes her likable.  She is energetic most of the time in her interviews, but sometimes she  gets suddenly reserved and nervous, which shows she’s not full of herself, which is always a good thing.  Typically, the models get the early boot.
